The data used to populate the fields on the EPA Toxic Chemical Release Inventory (TRI) reporting form R is pulled from the information entered on forms within Essential. Knowing the source of the report data can help you determine what information to maintain, as well as troubleshoot missing or inaccurate data on a report.
The data source tables below identify where to enter the data required to populate form R fields. Data verification guidelines are also provided. The Electronic TRI Reporting tool will generate as many form Rs as necessary to provide the EPA with the required information for each chemical and chemical category selected. It is helpful to keep this in mind when using these data source tables and assessing the depth of questionable results. For instance, if data is missing for a material, you should initially determine if the problem is on a configuration level (impacting all form Rs) or on an individual material level (impacting just one form R). The data source tables are organized to match form R parts and sections.
Tip: CRI reports can help you to complete your form R. Generate
CRI reports using the Air module.
