The Essential FEMS™ module is a comprehensive system for managing your fugitive emission leak detection and repair program (LDAR), and reporting fugitive emissions. You can use the software to plan and schedule the monitoring of literally hundreds of thousands of fugitive emission points (components). The FEMS Smart System is available to automatically determine monitoring frequencies based on the regulations and performance history for your components.
The FEMS module can interact with a datalogger to automate the collection of monitoring data. The software will store all of your instrument readings, visual inspection results, and repair attempts for use in reporting and proving compliance with regulations. Then, the FEMS module can calculate your fugitive emissions and generate several useful reports. The software can also track detailed information about each emission point including its monitoring, service, repair delay, and tag ID history.
The FEMS Smart System™ is designed to automatically identify the monitoring frequency for a component based on the regulations defined for the component and the performance history of the component. A monitoring frequency is the number of times (during a specific time period) a component must be inspected for regulatory compliance. Components often have many applicable regulations, and each regulation has its own monitoring frequency requirement. The FEMS Smart System™ sets the strictest monitoring frequency of all the applicable regulations, so accurate and effective monitoring runs can be planned and scheduled.
