The Essential Waste™ module is a core component of the Emissions Management solution set and streamlines many aspects of the recordkeeping and reporting requirements necessary for compliance. Facilities that generate hazardous waste face many requirements in accordance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Paramount among these requirements is that every waste generator must determine if their waste streams are hazardous as defined by RCRA. In addition, stringent procedures must be followed when a generator ships a material off-site to be treated or disposed. Facilities that treat or dispose of hazardous materials have many additional recordkeeping and reporting requirements to prove the operation is running within the guidelines provided by the regulations and their operating permit.
