Compliance Methods

On the Compliance Method form, enter a list of regulatory requirements for monitoring components. For example, you may be required to perform a no detectable emissions check or a carbon compound detection on certain types of compressors. These compliance methods are in addition to any visual inspection or actual monitoring requirements imposed. The Essential software is shipped with a few typical compliance methods.

For each compliance method, equivalent entries in different languages can be defined. For example, a "Phase-in Testing" method in Spanish, "Fase-en Pruebas", could be specified. When localization has been implemented, the Culture setting assigned to a user determines which value is displayed in field lists on Essential forms. Enter the corresponding compliance methods and associate each one with the appropriate language in the Language Dependent Compliance Methods section.

Assign the appropriate compliance method to a component on the Tag form and/or to a rule requirement on the Requirement Citation Information form.
