Regulation Names

On the Regulation Name form, review the names and promulgation dates of the state and federal regulations shipped with the Essential software. If these regulations, such as HON, NESHAP, and NSPS, are not the only ones you need to comply with, add the regulations not listed. Include the promulgation dates of the regulations and the agency that enforces them. Once a complete list of regulation names has been established, document specific information about each regulation's requirements on the Rule Definition form.

For each regulation name, equivalent entries in different languages can be defined. For example, a "Preservation Management Program" name in German, "Bewahrungsverwaltungsprogramm", could be specified. When localization has been implemented, the Culture setting assigned to a user determines which value is displayed in field lists on Essential forms. Enter the corresponding regulation names and associate each one with the appropriate language in the Language Dependent Regulation Names section.
