On the Special Handling Instructions form, set up a list of various handling instructions that can added to the Shipment Express form to expedite the data entry process. Enter a single instruction or a group of related instructions in the Handling Instruction field and add a corresponding code when applicable. Consider the following Shipment Express functionality when setting up your list of instructions:
A special handling instruction can be selected from the Predefined Handling Instruction field list on the Shipment Express form.
One or more handling instructions can be added. All selected instructions are displayed in a text box in the Special Handling Instructions section in the order each instruction was chosen, separated by a comma.
Once an instruction is added to the form, it can be edited. Any changes apply only to the shipment express record where the edit was made.
To enter special handling
instructions
Click Data
Entry > Validation > Special Handling Instructions in
the Navigation Tree.
The Special Handling Instructions
list appears.
Click the New
button.
The Special Handling Instructions
form is displayed.
Select an Enterprise Entity from the list.
Enter the special Handling Instruction and corresponding Code.
Click Save.
Repeat steps 2 through 5 to add other special handling instructions.
