Stressor Types

On the Stressor Type form, enter types to categorize non-chemical stressors. The four primary stressor types to enter on this form are Physical, Biological, Ergonomic, and Air Contaminants. Other stressor types, such as "Radiation", can also be entered to suit the needs of your facility. For each stressor type, equivalent entries in different languages can be validated. For example, the "Psychological" type in French "Psychologique" could be specified. When localization has been implemented, the Culture setting assigned to a user determines which value is displayed in field lists on Essential forms. Enter the corresponding stressor types and associate each one with the appropriate language in the Language Dependent Stressor Types section.

After establishing a stressor type, assign any number of properties to that type. (Set up stressor type properties on the Non-chemical Stressor Properties form.) Use stressor types to classify a stressor on the Non-Chemical Stressors form.

Note:  After assigning properties to a stressor type, the properties are displayed in the Stressor Property Values section on the Non-chemical Stressor Details form when a stressor of the given type is selected.
