Aspect Validation

Aspects are elements of an organization's activities, products, or services that can interact with the environment. These may include discharges and emissions, raw materials and energy use, waste recycling, noise, dust, and visual pollution. Validate a list of environmental aspects on the Aspect form. Set up categories for your aspects, such as Footprint Management and Recyclable Waste, on the Aspect Category form. Define the sources of environmental aspects, such as Waste Production and Maintenance Operations, on the Aspect Source form. An option is available to associate a source with one or more entities to help organize aspect sources,.

For each aspect, category, and source, equivalent entries in different languages can be defined. For example, a "Laboratory" source in Italian, "Laboratorio", could be specified. When localization has been implemented, the Culture setting assigned to a user determines which value is displayed in field lists on Essential forms. Enter the corresponding aspects, categories, and sources with the appropriate language in the Language Dependent sections on the forms.

Assign one or more aspect categories and/or sources with aspects on the Entity Aspect form.
