Work Areas

On the Work Areas form, enter detailed entity-specific information about the work areas where samples are taken. Specify a work area name and work area type, such as "Open Air Facility" or "Laboratory" that categorizes the work area. Add location information, assign job tasks, and view all the exposure sessions that the work area is a part of in the sections on this form.

Use the information entered to establish entity-specific work zones that contain various work areas. For example, you may designate an open air-type work area as "Spray coating area #1". This area may be contained in a work zone called Building C; Building C may also contain "Spray coating areas #2-#5". View all work areas associated with a given work zone in the Work Areas section on the Work Zones form.

For each work area, equivalent entries in different languages can be defined. For example, a "Foundry" area in French, "Fonderie", could be specified. When localization has been implemented, the Culture setting assigned to a user determines which value is displayed in field lists on Essential forms. Enter the corresponding work areas and associate each one with the appropriate language in the Language Dependent Work Area section.
